My client is located in Old Montreal and is looking for an assistant controller to work for one of its divisions

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the assistant controller are:
- Prepare and supervise month-ends and the complete accounting cycle;
- Prepare monthly financial analyses;
- work with the controller on the budget and forecasts
- Inspire the team on a daily basis
- Prepare year-end files and quarterly reviews for all international entities within its scope
- Provide the necessary support to the controller in all ad hoc projects
Qualifications
The qualifications for this assistant controller role are as follows
- CPA (strong asset)
- minimum 3 years of experience
- Bilingual
- Experience in an accounting firm a strong asset
