As a Document Clerk, you will manage various administrative tasks, acting as the expert on document requirements. This role requires excellent time management, multitasking skills, and attention to detail as you handle and process incoming mortgage documents. You will also assist with calls, manage mailboxes, and handle mail and scanning tasks. As the go-to expert on documents, you’ll support clients and colleagues while identifying issues that need to be escalated to management.

Responsibilities
Document Processing: Efficiently handle mortgage loan documents, prioritizing tasks based on client procedures and service level agreements.
Issue Resolution: Identify discrepancies in data and documents, escalating to management and clients to prevent delays.
Mailbox Management: Oversee multiple email inboxes and workflows, and handle inbound and outbound calls.
Mail and Scanning: Process, scan, and distribute mail as required.
Client Support: Provide quick and accurate responses based on client needs and company standards.
Process Improvement: Identify trends and areas for improvement to enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.
Qualifications
Customer Service Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a customer service-related role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to work well with others.
Attention to Detail: Capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Confidentiality: Ability to exercise good judgment in protecting sensitive information.
