Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
- Manage Invoicing, Payment Applications & Collections: Own the AR process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Reduce Overdue Balances: Implement strategies to maintain a low DSO (< 45 days) and reduce overdue accounts.
- Monitor Customer Accounts: Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments, putting accounts on hold when necessary.
- Resolve Payment Discrepancies: Work directly with customers to address any issues and foster positive relationships.
- Streamline AR Processes: Analyze and improve existing AR processes, identifying ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with sales, account management, and service lines to resolve billing issues and support smooth customer onboarding.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records to support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Customer Relations: Act as the go-to expert for AR issues, building strong connections with key customers.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- A Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business is essential.
- A minimum of two years in an Accounts Receivable role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a proficiency in English.
- Excellent organizational abilities and MS Office proficiency.
- Strong MS Excel proficiency.
- A self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
