Responsibilities
In this Accounts Payable Specialist role in Toronto, you will be responsible for the following:
- Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with month-end closing processes and audits
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Prepare and process expense reports
Qualifications
In this Accounts Payable Clerk role in Toronto, you will be required to have the following:
- Minimum 1 year of experience processing full-cycle AP.
- Experience with journal entries is an asset
- Experience using Great Plains is also an asset
- Requires critical thinking and an analytical mindset.
