Responsibilities
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:
-Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and correct general ledger coding
-Manage the accounts payable inbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
-Prepare and process electronic payments and cheque runs
-Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
-Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
-Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to verify goods and services received
-Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
-Support audits and special finance projects as needed
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
-At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable
-Proficiency in SAP (required)
-Industry-related experience (asset)
-Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
