Responsibilities
Here is an overview of the responsibilities required for this Accounting Technician position located downtown:
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable and payable (AR/AP)
- Oversee payables, receivables, and transactions related to assets and facilities
- Prepare financial statements as well as monthly and quarterly tax filings
- Reconcile bank statements and investment accounts
- Handle general accounting tasks and produce financial reports
- Complete tax filings accurately and on time
- Assist with audit preparations by organizing and providing necessary documentation
Qualifications
Here are the requirements for this rare opportunity in downtown Montreal:
- A degree in accounting or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in an Accounting Technician role (experience in property management is a plus)
- Bilingual (French and English), with a primarily French-speaking work environment
-Experience with Yardi is a significant asset
- Versatility, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
