Our company demands are picking up and we are in need of a Power Engineer (4th Class Required). We are seeking someone with a good background in welding, that will understand the differences between a centrifugal and axial pumps and that can handle a sometimes very physically demanding role. You would be accountable for preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment as per the work order requests, equipment stoppages or breakdowns.. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in Maintenance work, and that has opening availability for a flexible shift schedule. Interested in learning more?

Wage offered: $38 to start to $39 after probation + Shift Premium and + Dual ticketed: $0.97 additional/ hour

Responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintaining all mechanical equipment and systems in the plant.
- Performing daily pre-operational inspections and repairs as necessary
- Accountable to adhere to and utilize company policies and procedures and HACCP regulations.
- Troubleshoot and schedule maintenance work with your team
- Performing daily pre-operational inspections and repairs as necessary
- Responsible for boiler operation of a high-pressure boilers
- Welding and other tasks as needed. This role has alot of growth potential
Qualifications
- Experience with welding and a willingness to learn
- Work in extreme temperatures, dusty areas, or on physically demanding projects
- Mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems knowledge, and an ability to use power and manual tools.
- Maintenance Experience (3-4 years of experience)
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs as this role can be physically demanding
- Flexible shift availability as this role could be rotational as need to start
- Located in or around the Port Coquitlam, BC area
