The Randstad App connects you to day labour jobs available around the clock, every day of the month, in various sectors, including manufacturing and logistics, the food industry, or operations environments. Whether you're new to Canada, looking to make extra money, or simply looking for a short-term gig, our app helps you build your skill set and confidence and allows you to try out different jobs while we take care of the rest. 

how it works

The Randstad App connects talent with work opportunities and employers with ready-to-go workers. Randstad manages payroll, deductions and insurance. Workers are paid on the next business day following the end of their shift, making it easy for employers to fill shifts quickly.

    Employers have access to post their shift directly on the mobile application or on the desktop version. There are no upfront costs and you will only be charged for worker hours confirmed by you.

    Workers receive notifications when shifts are available for them based on the pre-selected preferences. They can work when they want and how they want. Workers have all the details of the job and their contact on site directly on the app.

Welcome to the centre for all things to do with the Randstad App. If you have any questions you don’t see below, please get in touch with your consultant for more information.

  • what is Randstad App?

    Randstad App is a mobile app for people like you that are looking for temporary work, part-time work, or full-time permanent jobs. You can try various shifts with all of our employers to find great places you like to work.

  • what do I need to set up a verified Randstad App account?

    Create an account

    1. Download the Randstad App
    2. Click on Create an account
    3. Here are the informations you will need to provide :
    • First name and last name
    • Email address (you'll receive an email verification)
    • Create a password (must be at least 8 characters long, with 1 uppercase letter and 1 symbol)
    • Read and accept the Working with Integrity policy

    Log in and provide the necessary information to verify your profile:

    • Address
    • Birthday
    • SIN # (for tax purposes)
    • ID Verification (You'll need to provide a valid Passport, Driver's License, or Provincial photo card. Please note that student cards are not accepted)
    • Selfie (Your ID should match the selfie, please ensure you look the same as your ID, as any discrepancies may require manual verification by our team members)
    • Valid phone number (It's important to provide a valid phone number as we send text messages to confirm your attendance for shifts. You'll need to reply to these messages. Failure to respond may result in removal from the shift.)

    Now that your Randstad App profile is verified, you can start selecting your preferences and begin searching for a new job!

    If your profile needs to be manually verified, we will contact you as soon as possible to provide further instructions or updates.

  • when will I receive my pay?

    Our goal is for you to be paid on the next business day. Once your shift has ended, the employer checks you out, and we get to work on processing your payment. Remember to ensure that you have been checked in when you start your shift and check out when you finish the shift with the job's supervisor to ensure this process is completed on time.

  • how will I be paid?

    We currently support one payment option, eTransfer. This requires you to have the correct email address on file for us to send it to. We aim to send it as quickly as possible, so ensure you check in and check out with your supervisor.

  • how do I get work?

    Once you have filled out the online application and provided your ID, we will approve your status, and you can start taking jobs using the app. To take a job, simply find one you like, at the time you want, and take it. We made the process simple to help you find work fast and easily.

  • when are new jobs added?

    Employers all over Canada have an app like yours and can enter jobs anytime they feel like it. So you don’t need to check the app all day. Try checking it around 4 pm to 5 pm, when most jobs are posted.
