[Montreal, February 25] – Randstad Canada is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious Gold-Level Certification from Women in Governance, recognizing its unwavering commitment to gender parity, diversity, and inclusion at all levels of the organization. This achievement is part of the company’s broader ambition to become the most equitable and specialized talent company, ensuring fair opportunities and access to career growth for all employees.
“Our journey toward gender parity is a testament to our belief that diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just HR initiatives—they must be embedded into every aspect of our business,” said Patrick Poulin, President of Randstad Canada. “Achieving Gold-Level Certification reinforces our commitment to removing barriers for women and ensuring they have equal opportunities to thrive in their careers. We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and remain dedicated to continuous progress in building an inclusive workplace for all.”
To reach this achievement, Randstad Canada established new programs and practices to support the advancement of women, including an Intersectional Women’s Mentorship Program and an overarching Women’s Mentorship Program. The company implemented accountability frameworks to track progress, ensuring representation at all levels, and increased the representation of intersectional women within the leadership team. Additionally, Randstad created an inclusive workplace culture that normalizes women’s realities and hosted a Male Ally Chat to foster awareness and education on women's health journeys and build stronger male allyship. The company also emphasized the experiences of women with disabilities to promote greater inclusion: it promoted flexible work arrangements and a summer schedule to support work-life balance for all employees.
Achieving this milestone reflects Randstad Canada’s deep-rooted commitment to fostering a more equitable workplace for women, including those from intersectional backgrounds. The company remains committed to evolving its policies and programs to create an environment where all employees can reach their full potential.
