Carolyn is awarded the Board Member of the Year award, for her role on the Board of Directors at Women in Communications and Technology (WCT). Since 2020, she has played a key role in revitalizing their presence in Alberta and helping the chapter accelerate. She actively promotes a culture of inclusivity and representation within WCT through her advocacy and initiatives, fostering an environment where diverse voices are valued and empowered.
Carolyn's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion extends beyond her professional responsibilities, evident through her active involvement in the broader community. She has acted as a spokesperson and role model in numerous speaking engagements, panel discussions, and workshops with organizations such as CIO Canada, AB Government, WCT’s Change Agent Program and ACSESS. Through these platforms, Carolyn consistently advocates for embedding D&I within organizations and promoting inclusive practices in the broader community.
