Salary: $18 per hour
Location: Britannia Road E - Dixie, Mississauga
Advantages
This position offers a steady day shift, Monday to Friday, with full-time hours and the potential for permanent employment. A two-week training program is provided, along with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
As a Packer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: accurately packing products; using RF scanners for inventory management; maintaining a clean and organized workspace; adhering to all safety regulations; and lifting up to 50 lbs. You may also be required to operate a manual pump truck and perform repetitive tasks. Overtime may be required (early mornings/Saturdays).
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have at least one year of packing experience in a warehouse or shipping environment. Experience with RF scanners is essential, as is the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Mathematical aptitude, good computer skills (including MS Office), and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and push/pull for extended periods (7-8 hours) are also necessary. A high school diploma is required. Previous experience in a similar warehouse setting and positive references are highly valued. A commitment to long-term employment is essential.
