The ideal candidate will be available for full time hours. Please note based on the scope of work hours may fluctuate from full time to part time. Hours of work are flexible with a start time as early as 6:30am.
The chosen candidate must have experience with power cleaning equipment such as industrial vacuums and ride-on floor scrubbers.
Advantages

Responsibilities
-Regular cleaning and sanitization of warehouse floors and common areas
-Proper disposal of waste and recyclables
-Dusting and cleaning the racking
-Operate hand and/or power cleaning equipment, including industrial vacuums and ride-on floor scrubbers, including regular pre and post operational maintenance of the equipment
-Complete the cleaning logbook in the tablet, report issues to the supervisor as needed and escalate any major facilities repair
-Disassemble and discard wooden palettes as required
-Any other tasks necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications
-At least 1-year experience in industrial cleaning is required, with a preferred background in a warehouse environment
-Ability to pass a criminal record check
-Ability to use power tools as needed to disassemble pallets
-Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
-Proven ability to understand and execute instructions, and complete documents such as logs and reports
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
