You will make a great fit if you have a background in a fast paced distribution environment and can work efficiently in a warehouse setting. Previous order picking experience is considered an asset. As a Warehouse Associate you will be accurately picking, prepping and building products for shipment. Must be familiar with use of hand-tools and has basic math (measurements and fraction calculations involved). This role requires urgency, efficiency, attention to detail and comfortability handling parts up to 50 pounds. You must be experienced and certified operating a Stand Up Reach, Triple Power Jack and a Sit-down counterbalance. Must be comfortable working both outdoor and indoor environment.

Shift Time: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Wage: $21-$23/hr
This is a full-time position, temporary to permanent opportunity, the ideal candidate will need to be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities
•Load or unload materials, stock or pile materials in a designated area.
•Ensure work is done safely and in accordance with the company’s safety policy.
•Pick the orders accurately
•Schedule core carrier or courier to deliver shipment
•Receive all orders and check for any visible damage or shortages
•loading and unloading containers and trucks with forklift
•Follow established safety procedures during all off-loading
•Keeping a tidy and organized work area (warehouse)
•Measuring and cutting of wood and metal
•Use of power tools/forklift

- You bring a minimum of 1 year in a warehouse or fast paced distribution environment

- You are capable to work in a fast paced distribution environment with speed, reliability and accuracy
- Fast Learner and can work with efficiency
- Ability to meet physical requirements; lifting 50 pounds consistently, standing, pushing, bending
- Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
- Dress Code: CSA approved Steel Toe Boots (safety vest and safety goggles will be provided)
