Position Overview: The Employee will be responsible for troubleshooting any inbound, outbound, and internal materials for Eaton’s Satellite, Customer, and site orders. This role involves working closely with warehouse clerks, team leads, and Work-in-Process (WIP) personnel while maintaining Eaton’s WIP database. Additionally, the Manager will help pack, weigh, and load trucks for all outbound materials, and maintain inventory balances and on-hand accuracy within the warehouse.

Responsibilities
> The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of both outbound and inbound shipping processes.
> This includes the completion of appropriate shipping paperwork, assigning tracking numbers, and collaborating with freight companies to ensure shipments align with customer delivery dates. In this role, you will support the supply chain materials process to fulfill customer requirements and orders by producing quality products safely and in a timely manner, adhering to Standard Work protocols.
> Compliance with environmental, health, and safety guidelines is essential, as is the sustainment of 5S+ practices in the work area.
> You will proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and conduct root cause analysis in response to quality or production issues
> Quality assurance is a key responsibility, which includes performing visual inspections of materials before shipping, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors.
> You will also respond to change notices, customer-requested adjustments, and development needs, while identifying special or non-standard conditions and notifying supervision accordingly.
> The role requires managing the shipment process for final products shipped to external customers and preparing assemblies for shipment or storage as appropriate.
> Additionally, you will execute daily close-out tasks for outgoing shipments, using supply chain tracking systems to maintain inventory, and confirming customer orders in the Vista system are also part of your responsibilities.
> You will pack, crate, and tape finished products according to instructions and prepare them for shipping, utilizing material handling equipment to move products and supplies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
> Must have valid forklift license (electric counter balance), with min. 1 year operating experience
> Will be required to lift min. 35lbs solo; min. 50lbs in team lift (this will occur throughout the day)
> Will require attention to detail (i.e. identifying and sorting parts, updating receipt paperwork)
> Require basic computer skills
Preferred Skills:
> Experience with inventory management software.
> Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
> Strong organizational skills.
> Excellent communication skills.
> Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
> Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
