Responsibilities
1) Develop and implement operational strategies to align with organizational goals and maximize cost efficiency in supply chain management.
2)Optimize operational processes using logistics expertise to ensure effective supply chain management.
3) Manage customer and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations and resolve conflicts as needed.
4) Lead negotiations with vendors, partners, and clients to secure favorable terms and contracts.
5) Oversee procurement to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery of goods and services.
6) Use data management to develop and review KPIs that monitor operational success.
7) Efficiently manage claims to minimize disruptions.
8) Stay informed on local customs, regulations, and market conditions to ensure compliance.
9) Identify and implement new services, products, or technologies to meet objectives and capitalize on market opportunities.
Qualifications
1) Experience: 10+ years experience in finished vehicle operations is mandatory
2) Automotive industry with well-established brands such as Toyota, Honda, GM, Mitsubishi, Kia etc.
3) Familiarity with local customs, regulations, and market conditions is essential for building strong relationships with vendors and customers who share similar cultural backgrounds.
4) 15 years of experience in automotive logistics, with a proven track record of leading and managing large teams and operations within the automotive supply chain.
5) A deep understanding of the regional market and local business environment to effectively navigate market dynamics and leverage cultural insights in relationships with stakeholders.
