Responsibilities
-Develop and implement operational strategies to align with organizational goals, focusing on maximizing cost efficiency in Supply Chain Management functions.
-Leverage a strong logistics background to optimize operational processes and ensure effective supply chain management.
-Manage customer and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations and provide exceptional service, while addressing conflicts when necessary.
-Lead negotiations with vendors, partners, and clients to secure favorable terms and establish optimal contracts.
-Oversee procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery of goods and services.
-Use data management practices to develop and review key performance indicators (KPIs) that monitor operational success.
-Manage claims efficiently, ensuring quick resolution and minimizing operational disruptions.
-Stay informed on local customs, regulations, and market conditions to ensure compliance and adjust strategies as needed.
-Identify and implement new services, products, or technologies to meet organizational objectives and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
Qualifications
-15+ years of experience in the automotive logistics industry, with expertise in supply chain management and operations.
-Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and agreements with vendors, clients, and partners.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
-Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed and effective choices under pressure.
-Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
-Strong reporting and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information.
-Effective personnel management skills, with experience in leading teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
