- Develop and execute engineering roadmaps, from product ideation to production control.
- Foster strong customer relationships and maintain alignment with client requirements.
- Lead a team of 20+ P.Eng-certified mechanical and electrical engineers, promoting collaboration, trust, and high performance.
- Strategically oversee the entire engineering function to ensure successful project/product delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization and externally.

- Lead the engineering team’s workflows, ensuring smooth project planning, execution, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and leadership development to build a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement strategic engineering initiatives aligned with organizational goals and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to guide projects, operations, and system improvements.
- Manage departmental budgets, policies, and practices to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
- Approve and oversee project plans, including cost analyses, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and systems to enhance processes and decision-making.
- Ensure projects are delivered economically, on time, and to a high-quality standard.
- Establish and maintain engineering policies, standards, and security measures for consistent and effective operations.
- Align staffing, development, and infrastructure decisions with the organization's strategic vision.
Qualifications
20+ years of engineering leadership experience, with 10+ years focused on custom industrial machinery manufacturing.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- P.Eng designation required
- MBA preferred.
Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong technical acumen coupled with high emotional intelligence.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering principles and tools
