Responsibilities
Coordinate the movement of Aircraft Parts and related equipment (Air & Ground)
Request quotes from carriers
Produce commercial invoices for shipments to US and Overseas
Tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments
Monitor transportation invoicing and prices
Inform of any transportation-related issues, damaged shipments, delays, high costs
Assist with Critical and AOG (Aircraft on The Ground) shipments
Provide assistance to the Supply Chain in transportation-related activities in areas such as Request For Parts (RFP), Purchase Orders/Repair Orders, Inventory, Warehousing
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
1 - 2 years of work experience and/or education in Transportation and Logistics
Experience in the aerospace industry preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Positive, professional attitude and the ability to take initiative
Strong sense of urgency and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of AMS and/or SharePoint, an asset
Dangerous Goods training, an asset
Advanced computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented
Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety, Teamwork, Focus, Innovation and Integrity
Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values
