This is a 6-month contract, with potential to extend. It's hybrid, requiring the talent to work onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities
Event Coordination
• Assist the Senior Manager in organizing and executing roadshows, workshops, and AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions to drive adoption of Microsoft Viva Engage.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to assess training needs and tailor content accordingly.
• Collect participant feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
• Track engagement metrics and report on session outcomes.
Training & Support
• Develop resources to help employees understand and effectively use Microsoft Viva Engage.
• Provide hands-on training and support during scheduled workshops, live sessions, and ad-hoc engagements.
Communication & Engagement
• Support engagement efforts during a high-activity six-month period, ensuring early-access participants have a positive experience.
• Assist in addressing user questions and concerns about the new platform.
Subject Matter Expertise
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Viva Engage, offering insights and best practices.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and ad-hoc meetings to help teams and individuals navigate challenges with the platform.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
• 5-7 years of experience in training, event coordination, or change management, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of internal communications, employee experience, or related fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Viva Engage and familiarity with enterprise social media and communication platforms.
• Strong skills in Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a nice to have.
Soft Skills:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident presenter with the ability to engage audiences in virtual, in-person, and hybrid settings.
• Ability to connect with diverse groups and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Comfortable coaching users of all skill levels.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
