We are looking to hire a permanent position for a welder within the food + packaging manufacturing environment!
Location - Mississauga
Shift - Days (6am/7am-3pm) + OT

Responsibilities
- Welding and Fabrication: Read and interpret engineering blueprints, operate various welding equipment (arc, TIG, plasma, oxy-acetylene), and weld stainless steel pipes according to sanitary requirements. Fabricate and construct metal components, including grinding and finishing completed products.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with plant production equipment and facilities, ensuring swift problem resolution to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Double-check design specifications before cutting work, perform quality checks on completed products, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Teamwork and Reporting: Collaborate with the maintenance team, follow preventive maintenance schedules, accurately report work completed, and ensure a safe working environment for all.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a welder
- MUST be expert at TIG welding
- MUST have stainless steel + piping knowledge/experience
- Certified Welder would be an asset - not needed
- Familiar with GMP practices
