Responsibilities
Technical Procurement: Source and procure specialized aerospace components and materials, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes to ensure seamless operations.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchases align with AS9100 standards and aerospace regulatory requirements.
Problem-Solving: Address supply chain disruptions, quality control issues, and procurement challenges with effective solutions.
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with engineering teams, production staff, and external vendors to align purchasing decisions with project needs.
ERP & Data Analysis: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., VISUAL) and Excel for inventory tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Certifications: C.P.P. or relevant supply chain certification preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years in technical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within an aerospace manufacturing environment or working with aerospace parts suppliers.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aerospace materials, components, and industry-specific procurement practices.
ERP & Analytical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
