Responsibilities
The person is responsible for all tasks on the production line. This mainly includes packaging and inventory management. He/she ensures the quality of production and smooth operations to meet customer expectations.
- Be able to assign tasks if needed
- Monitor drying conditions
- Package finished products in various formats
- Receive/create labels in a timely manner
- Check quantity and quality of labels and packaging materials
- Ensure safety complies with rules and quality standards
- Address production issues and promote safety practices
- Complete all documentation to meet company requirements
- Perform additional tasks
Qualifications
- English or french speaking (Bilinguasim an asset)
- Able to work in Huntingdon and has a car to get to work easily
- Able to work overtime if/when needed
- Looking for a permanent opportunity
- Packaging/quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background in the Cannabis industry an asset
- Leadership experience in a similar role
The ideal candidate also has:
- Manual dexterity and vigilance
- Ability to stay organized
- Someone committed and agile
- Willingness to learn and be able to adapt to change quickly
- Able to set a good example
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks as required
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Attention to detail
