Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Prepare and file tax returns (T1, T3), elections, and specialized forms
- Review documentation to ensure accurate accounting entries
- Research and communicate with the CRA
- Draft written correspondence to tax authorities as needed
- Assist senior team members with advisory services and collaborate to resolve issues
Qualifications
- Relevant degree and a commitment to further professional development
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Tax field in public accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail
- Effective communication and strong time management
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to building client and team relationships
