Responsibilities
· Responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment for requisitions across North America including job postings, sourcing and resume review, pre-screening, interviews, and pipeline tracking
· Develop a deep understanding of company's talent needs across different teams and groups
· Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs while providing expertise on market trends and providing hiring recommendations
· Continuously work towards building and maintaining strong talent pipelines for multiple, complex searches by leveraging numerous platforms
· Directly source candidates through database mining, direct sourcing, vendor partnerships and referrals
· Conduct initial conversations with potential candidates to evaluate qualifications, providing feedback and recommendations on next steps
· Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
· Manage job offer process including offer extensions and negotiation
· Collaborate and share knowledge and best practices with the Talent Acquisition and HR teams
· Ensure data integrity and accuracy through company's internal ATS system
· Act as an ambassador within the Talent Acquisition team, traveling around Western Canada to Job Fairs ect.
· Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are in compliance with corporate policies and governmental regulations
Qualifications
You are an experienced, service-oriented Recruiter who thrives in a multi-disciplined environment where attention to detail, multiple touchpoints, and a sense of urgency compel you to do more!
• 3+ years experience in multi-disciplinary Recruitment role including unionized environments
• Superior customer service skills
• Thrive working with strict deadlines and volume targets
• Driven by exceeding goals
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Proven computer skills and previous experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferred
• Post-secondary education in business and/or human resources preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Excellent organizational and execution skills, and the ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic, action-oriented team
