The incumbent will be responsible for the effective and timely execution of purchasing activities for an assigned group of commodities and/or assignments. This function shall strive to provide support required by the organization related to Supply Chain activities.

Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities / Key Areas of Responsibility
● Becomes knowledgeable of assigned specific group of goods including the use of the ERP in support to transition to a new system.
● Coordinate with the suppliers to close off and novate all applicable purchase orders. Coordinate with AP the activity to enable on time suppliers' payments.
● Run reports and conduct forensic analysis for the past due POs coordinating the closure in the ERP.
● Reviews all received requisitions of required goods and/or services for completeness: including but not limited to part number, description, quantities, delivery dates, special terms and/or conditions, appropriate approvals and the designated point of receipt.
● Place orders and enter into contract for procurement with approved Suppliers as necessary for required materials and/or services.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, PO placement
● Post Secondary Education in business and/or Operations Materials Management
● Strong written and oral communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
● SAP experience
