Responsibilities
Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain hardware components including:
Servers
Network storage appliances
Routers, switches, and firewalls
Thin clients
Install, upgrade, configure, backup, and maintain system software such as:
System firmware
VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, Horizon)
Microsoft Server & Windows OS
Linux distributions
Provide user support by:
Creating and managing user accounts
Assigning and configuring virtual machines
Installing user-specific software
Granting and managing access to file shares
Monitor system performance during events such as:
Distributed training exercises
Virtual trials
Address and escalate technical issues using HaloITSM ticketing system
Develop, document, and validate system administration instructions and procedures
Contribute to a secure, scalable, and high-performance M&S cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
Experience Level: 10+ years in system administration (or equivalent to Level 3)
Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for Secret Level II clearance
Technical Proficiency:
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and virtual desktop infrastructures
Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Linux systems, and enterprise network environments
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., HaloITSM)
