Under the supervision of the Planning and Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the activities of the Purchasing Department. Your organizational skills, rigor and ability to collaborate will be essential to ensure the smooth running of procurement processes.
We're looking for a Procurement Clerk who will develop strong, collaborative relationships with buyers, planners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
This highly organized individual, with knowledge of purchasing and customer service, must have experience in the manufacturing sector. Excellent communication skills and initiative are also expected.
Kdc/one is a global supplier to leading beauty, personal care and home care brands. KDC offers superior services in ideation, formulation, design, packaging and manufacturing. Each year, KDC helps create and manufacture products for more than 1,000 brands sold worldwide.
The company is located in Knowlton in the Eastern Townships. A shuttle service to and from Sherbrooke is available.

salary: 50K

Responsibilities
As a Procurement Clerk the main tasks are to:
● Develop strong and collaborative relationships with buyers, planners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
● Create, track and update purchase orders as well as various reports and support documents
● Ensure data updates in manufacturing systems (MRP)
● Actively participate in the resolution of procurement issues
● Act as an effective intermediary between the purchasing group, suppliers and internal teams
● Provide administrative support to the team
Qualifications
The Procurement Clerk should have....
● Experience in a manufacturing environment
● Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
● Good command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
Will be considered as assets:
- Experience with an MRP system
- Knowledge of purchasing, customer service or a similar position
