Responsibilities
◾Administer Health and Safety Programs
◾Project Management: Oversee construction, ensure quality, control costs, and manage site forces and resources.
◾Coordination: Manage trade contractors and assistants, organize the site, and coordinate work with project schedules and budgets.
◾Review & Feedback: Examine drawings for errors, assess trade contracts, review budgets, and provide feedback on shop drawings.
◾Meetings & Documentation: Chair trade meetings, attend site meetings, review and approve time sheets, and handle material purchases.
◾Quality & Compliance: Implement QA/QC Program, conduct regular inspections, and arrange third-party inspections.
◾Cost & Schedule Management: Monitor costs, review change documentation, and track project progress using ITC systems.
◾Training: Mentor and coach team members.
Qualifications
◾Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in residential construction
◾Strong understanding of residential building processes, techniques, and safety regulations
◾Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction field, preferably on high rise residential projects.
◾Red Seal Certification is an asset
◾Degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
◾Strong communication, planning and execution skills. Strong problem-solving and judgment skills.
◾Demonstrated ability to effectively manage timelines and budgets to ensure delivery of project objectives.
