Our client, an established General Contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent in the Commercial sector to add to their busy and growing team in Calgary. The Site Superintendent oversees construction activities at the worksite, supervises and provides direction to general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers. The Site Superintendent is responsible for maintaining the schedule, knowing what work must be done, and ensuring that sufficient and appropriate resources are assigned to accomplish that work.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all daily construction activities on designated site / sites.
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct and control construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
- Oversee day-to-day field activities. Supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
Qualifications
- The individual will need to demonstrate experience in Multi-Residential or Commercial projects
- Ground up (full-cycle) experience is an preferred / asset
- Minimum of 3+ years of Superintendent level work experience on projects in the $1 - $10 million range
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract requirements
- Willingness to travel out of town is an asset
