At our facility in Etobicoke you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the team as the Subcontractor Manager- Transportation :
• Define contract scope: Set expectations, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for all parties • Writing and sending requests for proposals to potential vendors•Monitoring contracts, and moving forward with extension, close-out, or renewal of contracts•Ensuring all contract details align with federal, provincial, and local laws, as well as cooperate guidelines, policies, objectives, and goals•Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact •Negotiate: Drafting responses to contract bids, negotiations, and proposals•Reviewing existing contracts to locate any potential breaches and to add updates as requested by signers•Performance monitoring: Track deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure compliance with the contract. Make sure that critical procedures as invoicing and sending proper proof of service has been sent to head office on a timely basis•Adding improvements to existing company contract policies to ensure compliance and reduce any potential risks•Use technology and best practices to eliminate bottlenecks and increase operational efficiency•Provide technical assistance to Cascades Recovery System Operations and Transportation Managers and supervisors ensuring that all service is provided as negotiated•Ensure legal documents move smoothly from creation to signature •Store and organize contracts: Ensure contracts are stored securely and organized •Collaborate with Finance to provide monthly expenditure reports to include cost and revenue analysis to make sure agreements are profitable•Work closely with the H&S and Compliance teams to ensure Subcontractor Operations reflect and aligns with Cascades values•Travel as required to visit Subcontractor’s facilities/ Operations•Other duties as required
