Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive intake discussions with hiring partners detailing the position needs,
scope and clarifying mutual partnerships roles and expectations.
Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities.
Acts as Subject Matter Expert for managers throughout the recruitment process.
Manage end-to-end recruitment process including document and tracking all pertinent
information using our applicant tracking system, Success Factors.
Build and maintain a viable pipeline of candidates for hard-to-fill roles through appropriate
and targeted sourcing.
Conduct preliminary interviews with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience
and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral-based interview
techniques.
Conduct face to face interviews as requested by the business.
Manage full cycle recruitment process for all internal and external hires.
Develop and maintain working relationships with HR Partners and Hiring Managers within
the business areas to provide assistance with recruiting needs, job vacancy specifications,
and to make recommendations on optimum sourcing channels.
Provide market intelligence to business regarding the recruitment market as well as build a
pipeline/database of future talent based on networking and targeted research.
Proactively seek out live market benchmark intelligence in relation to compensation.
Qualifications
Must-have
Business acumen of retail banking
Mandatory bilingual (French and English)
Knowledgeable on Bill 96
Have at least 5 years' full life-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate environment
Strong ability to handle 20-25 requests at any given time
Must be onsite on Wednesdays, and for any other business actives as they arise
Experience using Workday
Advanced sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills
Excellent relationship building skills and consultative mindset
Strong negotiation skills
Results oriented with honed multi-tasking skills
Experience working with e-Recruitment tools and behavioural based interviews
Consultative recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of
management
Nice-to-have
Recruitment experience within financial services
