Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, maintain ledgers, and perform reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Verify deposits and receivables while ensuring accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports, reviewing variances
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Prepare and submit quarterly HST returns
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
- Analyze accounting data to support financial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally from within the NFP sector
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
