Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage end-to-end payroll for employees across multiple regions.
Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Maintain accurate payroll records, including taxes, deductions, benefits, and bonuses.
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll issues efficiently.
Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Generate payroll reports and assist in audits as needed.
Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications for the Payroll Specialist job:
3-5 years of payroll experience
Strong knowledge of payroll processes
Bilingual (English & Spanish/French) – Required.
3+ years of experience in payroll processing.
Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, Quickbooks, Nethris, Employeur D or similar).
Familiarity with payroll regulations in Canada.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
