Responsibilities
• End to End (ETE) Solution owner for the Digital Promotional Pricing Upfront (60%)
• Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the API Platform ART (40%)
Requirements for the ETE Solution
• Understand business requirements, facilitate solution discussions, and support portfolio dependency mapping based on Epic scope
• Work with RTE/STE for dependency management, release coordination, and environment/test strategy, as well as with Product Manager/Lead Product Manager to the value stream vision and roadmap
• Work with Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Solution Train Engineers and ART teams to manage solution dependencies across teams and trains
• Leverage domain and platform knowledge to oversee solutioning process and inform architects of dependencies and technical constraints.
• Work with security and design stakeholders to ensure solution compliance
• Provide input on managing and prioritizing the flow of work at the value stream level in support of the solution delivery
• Participate in Program Increment Planning
• Work with product management and delivery teams to support release definition and release management activities
• Understand solution implications on impacted platforms to support overall integration and delivery
• Coordinate the activities of all delivery teams involved in the Epic regardless of Value Stream alignment or delivery methodology
• Support VS , Epic Owner and ART Financial Managers and participate in Classification reviews with Finance.
• Status reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements for the Release Train Engineer (API Platform ART - 3 scrum teams)
• Facilitate key ART events like PI Planning, System Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks within the ART, ensuring timely and effective mitigation strategies.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the ART's progress, ensuring teams can focus on delivering value.
• Assist with the management of the release train, including planning, execution, and release activities.
• Coordinate with other teams including Scrum Masters and other Release Train Engineers.
• Assist with economic decision-making and resourcing.
• Measure and understand KPI's to drive continuous improvements.
• Support the Product Manager in effective goal definition and Program Backlog management.
