Responsibilities
 Responsible for providing assistance within the machine shop and tool room
 Responsible for assisting with the receiving and storing of job ordered shop material
 Monitor and maintain fluids and coolant levels in tooling equipment (lathes, mills, grinders)
 Completion of fabrication projects such as frames, tables, and guarding
 Operation of sawmills and lathe
 Adheres to health and safety policies and procedures
 Operate a forklift and crane as needed

Qualifications
 Completion of Grade 12 or its equivalent
 Minimum of one (1) year Manufacturing experience
 Mechanically inclined, must be able to use small hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque wrenches, vices, clamps etc.
 Experience in a machine shop would be an asset
 Experience with measuring equipment such as venires, calipers, outside micrometers
 Proficient math skills such as calculating with fractions, conversions from metric to standard
 Excellent communication and organizational skills
 Must be self-motivated and eager to learn
 Able to work with minimal supervision
 Some heavy lifting is required
