Responsibilities
• Assist customers with product selection and finalize sales.
• Build relationships with designers, builders, and architects to drive sales.
• Provide accurate quotes and delivery timelines.
• Meet or exceed sales and gross profit targets.
• Process orders and maintain proactive customer communication.
• Resolve issues quickly, including returns and payment discrepancies.
• Keep product literature current for customer reference.
• Promote sales through showroom promotions and display upkeep.
• Follow all safety regulations at customer locations and the Profit Centre.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Profit Centre Manager.
Qualifications
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of products, value-added services, and kitchen/bath design trends
• Skilled in relationship building with customers, vendors, and teammates
• Ability to assess customer needs, recommend solutions, and close sales
• High energy and effective communication skills
• Project management experience
• University degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years in customer service or sales (plumbing/kitchen showroom sales a plus)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to learn order processing software (e.g., Trend, Eclipse)
• Intermediate math skills (basic calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Commitment to at least 40 hours of annual training
• Fluency in English
