We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Shop Hand to join our team! If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in a strong work ethic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. You will play a key role in supporting production by assisting with equipment operation, material handling, and general shop maintenance.

Responsibilities
Safely and responsibly operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
Use precision measuring equipment accurately and document findings.
Physically capable of lifting and moving items safely, using appropriate aids when needed.
Show initiative and apply creative problem-solving to maintain high-quality manufacturing standards.
Maintain a professional and diligent approach to work and the workplace.
Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Manufacturing experience is an asset.
Technical Training: Background in manufacturing or rubber machining is an asset.
Specialized Knowledge: Experience with stators is an asset.
Skills: Proficient in using hand tools, power equipment, hydraulic systems, steam boilers, pressure vessels, and operating machines safely.
Technical Abilities: Ability to read, comprehend, and contribute to technical drawings, written instructions, and documentation.
Certifications: A valid forklift operator’s certification and overhead crane certification are considered assets.
