Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition.
- Work with production teams to meet delivery and plant objectives.
- Supervise and train shipping/receiving staff while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Plan and oversee shipping operations to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
- Handle shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and SAP transactions, accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory counts, maintain accuracy, and ensure proper handling and security of materials.
Qualifications
1) 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2) Experience using SAP & MS Office
3) Should have a valid forklift license
4) Proven ability to understand and adhere to Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements and documentation regulations for interprovincial, intraprovincial, and international shipments.
