We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shipper/Receiver to manage incoming and outgoing shipments at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of goods, as well as operating forklifts to move and organize inventory. Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Verify packing slips and purchase orders against physical shipments.
Unload and load trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
Prepare and package orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
Generate and affix shipping labels, and ensure proper documentation for outbound shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a shipper/receiver or in a similar role.
Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating forklifts.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit] lbs).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
