Responsibilities
The Developer collaborates closely with its POD team, cross-functional technical teams and global business partners, to develop comprehensive features and functionalities that enhance the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities. The Developer attends regular Agile ceremonies, develops features and enhancements based on requirements captured in stories, and conducts unit testing. By doing so, they empower the Service Excellence team to deliver streamlined, scalable, and innovative solutions that elevate our global ServiceNow capabilities efficiently and effectively.
What you do:
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow applications, catalog items, integrations, modules, and workflows— customizing only when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions in alignment with industry best practices, focusing on an out-of-box approach where possible.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in across the ServiceNow platform
• Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow releases and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications
• 2+ years of development experience in ServiceNow.
• Strong scripting skills, experience with JavaScript
• In-depth subject matter expertise in one or more ServiceNow core products / modules
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification for any module is preferred
• Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Ability to be self-directed, proactive and work with a sense of urgency and ownership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
