Responsibilities
• Provides solutions for core challenges and problems, and creates opportunities based on data and evidence.
• Determines the future goal of projects ("service vision"). - Participates in field work and user research as part of a cross-functional agile team.
• Integration of human-centred design methods into program review and data product delivery.
• Analysis and documentation of project outcomes such as whether there is efficiency in use for staff and easy access to services for citizens.
• Analysis of internal and external data user experiences across channels (data pipelines, data user interfaces, data catalogues, data architecture etc.)
and identification of gaps, opportunities, and solutions.
• Based on business stakeholders and GoA policies, goals, priorities, and opportunities, a plan for and delivery
• A depiction of the overall end-to-end data/analytics product service journey and specific needs, opportunities, solutions, and metrics.
• A plan for the integration of specific design and development work into the overall data service experience and measurement of results.
• Co-design and development with program teams (executives and front-line staff) of new processes and policies to effect change management.
• A plan for the integration of new data architectural solutions into existing data service operations by examining areas such as the impacts of the
migration of data service delivery, data management innovation, change management, and data governance.

Work Experience
M26 years - Experience creating journey maps and service blueprints or other visual representations of user needs.
M36 years - Experience facilitating and leading co-design workshops.
M48 years - Experience using human-centered design approach (UX, customer experience, service design, interaction design, etc.).
M58 years - Experience working with digital services (services including a significant digital component; may include other channels).
M68 years - Experience working with organizations change for service implementation (policy, staffing, etc.)
M78 years - Working as a Service Designer on a project comparable in size and complexity to the service innovation, program review, and/or digital
transformation projects such as the GoA.
Desirable:
N1Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team.
N2Ability to manage stress and conflict.
N3Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
N4The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management and vendors.
Work Experience
N55 years - Experience analyzing research data and presenting findings in diverse ways
N65 years - Experience creating service metrics and measures
N75 years - Experience moving through projects shifting focus from small details to understanding the whole system and the relationship between
them.
N85 years - Experience planning, conducting and analyzing behavioral/ethnographic field research to understand user, employee, and government
needs and goals.
N95 years - Experience using advanced oral and verbal communication skills with staff at all levels of an organization to address the value of service
