We are seeking an experienced Service and Commissioning Engineer for an established client of ours in the Victoria area. This role will focus on troubleshooting and solving malfunctions, commissioning and/or supervising projects and carrying out maintenance for our clients customers in the marine industry.

Responsibilities
- The role oversees a variety of work from testing cabling, sensors and systems for proper functioning.
-Working with latest technologies in the maritime industry and with our inhouse developed vessel management system SCIO Connect.
-Carry out your work in accordance with outlined instructions and established regulations.
Qualifications
-A relevant technical education
-You have several years of relevant work experience in a similar position
-Knowledge of electrical engineering and electronics
-(Basic) Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (Preferred)
-(Basic) Knowledge of automation technology (Preferred)
-Knowledge of standards, safety regulations, quality and inspection requirements
-Are flexible and willing to travel regularly
-Work disciplined and accurately
-Have a sense of responsibility and show initiative
-Are customer-oriented and problem-solving
-Class 5 drivers license
-Knowledge of Word & Excel for reporting to customers and internal
