This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension. It requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office in the financial district of Toronto 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
• Transform complex challenges into seamless, user-friendly solutions.
• Engage in ideation, concept development, and innovative experience design.
• Create sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards.
• Advocate for users at every stage of the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications
• Degree in design or related disciplines (e.g., industrial design, HCI, psychology).
• 8–10 years of UX design experience.

• Expertise in prototyping using diverse techniques (sketches, wireframes, interactive models).
• Proficiency in tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of web, mobile technologies, and emerging trends.
• Impeccable attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adapt for diverse audiences.
• Skilled in creating customer journey maps and service design blueprints.
• Experience planning and co-facilitating workshops.
• Animation expertise (e.g., page transitions).
• Experience in financial services, investing, or insurance.
• Familiarity with mortgage products and workflows.
