Responsibilities
•Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
•Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
•Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
•Handle compilation engagements and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
•Prepare corporate tax returns and assist with tax planning.
•Process T1, T3, T4, T4A, T5, and T5018 tax returns accurately and on time.
•Work closely with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
•Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
•Active pursuit of a CPA designation is considered an asset.
•Experience in a staff accounting role or a similar position.
•Experience with compilation and review engagements.
•Proficiency in corporate tax preparation.
•Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
•Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online required (Cannot be Desktop version).
