Responsibilities
Senior Specialty Pharmacy Operations Manager
• Oversee operations for multiple specialty pharmacy sites, including multi-department location(s).
• Manage up to 10 direct reports (managing other managers), including designated pharmacy managers, department leaders and indirectly, pharmacists and other team members.
• Provide strategic direction, coaching, and mentorship to site leaders.
• Ensure operational excellence through process optimization and KPI management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
Senior Specialty Pharmacy Operations Manager
• Licensed pharmacist with specialty pharmacy leadership experience (multi-site leadership is preferred - large single-site specialty pharmacy management, including the leadership of multiple leaders, is also very acceptable - you will be set up for success)
• Proven track record in multi-department "or" multi-site operations and leadership of other leaders in a specialty pharmacy setting is required
• Strong ability to manage diverse teams and foster a collaborative culture.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to travel from time to time (less than 10% of role/duties) - very limited on-site presence outside of GTA is required (think up to 4 times per year)...
