Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Apply a comprehensive understanding of project management to:
oPlan and execute project
oIdentify and manage stakeholders and cross-project dependencies
oEnsure project team activities remain aligned with project objectives, scope and timelines, as baselined in project charter
oMonitor, track and report on project progress, resourcing, risks, issues and performance on a regular and ad hoc basis
•Manage the quality of project deliverables; ensure they meet all identified business and technical requirements; and are approved according to the project’s governance framework
•Following BCI project delivery guidelines – and as agreed with the project sponsor and/or business owner-- complete and maintain relevant, fit-for-purpose artifacts, which may include a stakeholder assessment, charter, budget, governance framework, project communications plan, risk register and project plan
•Proactively manage risks and, as required, assess options for issue resolution, develop action plans and take corrective actions
•Organize and facilitate cross-functional meetings with project team members and other stakeholders as required
•Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing Workday HCM, Strategic Sourcing, Expenses, and Adaptive Planning modules.
•Ensure solution design is aligned with BCI’s architectural principles and standards
•Ensure the project develops a viable, approved operational support/sustainment model
•Support a smooth transition to operations that includes a post-implementation support period
•Work closely with BCI’s Procurement team on any procurement activities
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in a formal Project Management role, including at least 7 years’ experience at a senior level, including project managing highly complex enterprise resource planning system implementation projects
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Law, Finance, or Business
•PMP or other equivalent project management designation
•Experience managing Workday Financials implementation projects preferred
•Experience working with institutional investors and Finance teams in particular
•Proficient with MS Teams, MS Project and Smartsheet
•Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment
•Demonstrated ability to positively interact with and influence peers, managers and senior leaders, and executives
•Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills
