As a Senior PCO, you will work closely with Project Managers, Finance, Technology stakeholders, and Senior Leadership to ensure effective financial tracking, project coordination, and risk management across this mission-critical initiative.
This is a 6-month hybrid contract with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Responsibilities
Project Financial Management
-Track, reconcile, and report financials
-Identify and resolve anomalies in project estimates and forecasts
-Prepare monthly financial reviews, PMLE summaries, and accrual files
Project Coordination & Lifecycle Support
-Support Project Managers and Scrum Masters through all project phases (Agile and Waterfall)
-Develop, maintain, and control project schedules
-Assist with Agile tools and user story tracking
Tracking & Reporting
-Monitor risks, issues, and action items across all workstreams
-Create and manage project change requests
-Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication with stakeholders
-Meeting & Documentation
-Attend and document key meetings (Advisory, Status, Financial Reviews)
-Finalize and distribute meeting minutes within specified timelines
-Maintain SharePoint documentation and ensure version control
-Recurring Task Management
-Conduct monthly variance analyses and financial reconciliations
-Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to ensure forecast accuracy
-Update and manage financial trackers and reporting templates
Qualifications
Must Have:
-5+ years of experience in a Project Control Officer role
-Strong expertise in managing project financials and understanding accounting principles
-Proficiency in Excel and SharePoint
-Exceptional organization, time management, and analytical skills
-Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have:
-Previous experience with big 5 bank or within the financial services industry
-PMP or similar Project Management certifications
Education:
-Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field
