Information Technology is seeking up to 2 POSSE Technical Support - Senior resources to work in Application Support. As technical resources, these individuals will provide application support and technical assistance to one or more business units.
Responsibilities
Background:
Provide Technical support for the Public One Stop Service Experience software (POSSE) workflows using PL/SQL and POSSE Configuration Tools.
Primary duties will include: System enhancements and maintenance requests, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of new POSSE workflows, working with business experts, application users, and IT service providers to investigate and resolve application issues.
Project Scope and Project Objectives:
•Provide Technical support for the POSSE platform and related applications.
•Research, analyze, evaluate, test, and recommend solutions for advancing the POSSE technology platform.
•Work as a data business analyst for new or undocumented business processes to ensure sure the processes can be supported by data structures.
•Provide specialized support to investigate and solve user, interface and system problems - including problem identification, documentation, and analysis
•Develop and execute detailed test plans for all newly developed custom code including coordination of testing activities, and support for user acceptance testing during major software changes
•Quality assurance, error handling and statistics collecting during system analysis, data processing, and data conversion Deliverables:
•Maintain and support critical systems ensuring high system availability •Develop and maintain application support documentation
•Adhere to change control policy and procedures when planning and deploying changes
•Practice continuous improvement by recommending changes in to IS procedures, standards and processes where improvements have been identified.
Qualifications
Skill/Experience/Education
Essential
1. Seven (7) years of development experience with Computronix Public One Stop Service Experience software (POSSE) 7.x;
2. Seven (7) years' experience developing and implementing data migration/conversion/cleanup processes/scripts for large databases
3. Seven (7) years experience with POSSE Architecture and Design;
4. Five (5) years of POSSE System Integration experience (e.g. ESRI/geospatial, EDMS, payment providers, SAP, etc.)
5. Five (5) years of POSSE Reporting experience (e.g. XtraReports, Ad Hoc Reporting Module, Corral)
6. Five (5) years of POSSE integrated tools and utilities experience (e.g. OLE Converter, XtraReports Converter, ADIEU)
7. Ten (10) years' experience with Oracle 11g+ and PL/SQL; 8. Ten (10) years' experience with C#, ASP.NET, VS 2005/2010;"
Desired
1. Experience with Integration with a Data Warehouse Repository
2. Previous work experience with municipal, or other large government organizations;
3. Experience with enterprise workflow and systems
4. Deep understanding of POSSE specific performance tuning
5. Mastery of POSSE StaffUI/Winchester configuration
6. Hands-on experiences working with projects and or providing application support
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills;
8. Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients;
9. Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment, demonstrating innovation, initiative, a customer service focus, positive ambassadorship and the ability to meet commitments.
