Responsibilities
◾Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to budget and timeline requirements.
◾Design and develop mechanical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
◾Provide expertise in HVAC, process systems, and pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
◾Manage complex capital projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
◾Perform technical reviews, calculations, and analyses to support engineering designs.
◾Prepare and seal engineering drawings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
◾Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and best engineering practices.
◾Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications
◾Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
◾Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
◾Experience in HVAC, process systems, and pressure vessels is considered an asset.
◾Must be registered with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or have the ability to transfer an existing P.Eng from another recognized authority.
◾Ability to seal engineering drawings and provide certification as required.
◾Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
