Responsibilities
- Organizing day to day operations and handle all request for over the road shipments (full truck load, LTL, oversized, etc)
- Taking responsibility and performing tasks related to all moves for accounts assigned to you or that you have brought on board
- Carrier relations and to negotiate rates and confirm details of each shipment.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients.
- Identify and grow business should the opportunity present itself from assigned clients (inside sales)
- Be able to handle several projects at the same time including track and trace
- Follow a shipment from beginning to end and ensure all paperwork is processed properly
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year in logistics ground operations
- Detail oriented and possess excellent organization skills with the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills
- Bilingualism is a must
